Mount Ile Lewotolok in Lemata Regency, Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara, erupted on Wednesday, (22/3/2023) and authorities issued a warning for local residents to avoid area in the radius two kilometres from the crater.
The volcano also erupted on Tuesday (21/3/2023), at least 46 tremors were recorded. Meanwhile, its first eruption on Wednesday occurred at 5 am local time. It pushed the authorities to issue a warning to avoid conducting any activities in an area that is two kilometres from the crater.
Mount Ile Lewotolok lies on Flores Island and its volcanology status is at level two or on alert mode.
